Description:
These new track framesets have been built to our specification by top Taiwanese manufacturers
They are suitable for use on the Velodromes at both Manchester & Newport.
The bottom bracket height is correct & gives the required track clearance, whilst not being too high with the consequent loss of stability.
They are made from Kinesium aluminium tubing, which has been developed by Kinesis engineers to raise standards & lower the weight of their premier frames. Kinesium tubing is 25% stronger than traditional 7005 aluminium tubing, yet weighs 10% less than even Kinesis Superlight tubing.
A standard brake bridge is fitted to allow a rear brake, if road use is required.
The carbon fibre track forks, with straight blades, have been specially made for us & may be fitted with brake callipers if required.
The head tubes & forks have been produced to accept 1 1/8 inch semi-integrated headsets. A Ritchey Zero Logic Pro headset is included with each frameset.
27.2mm seat pins are required, but not included. Seat pin clamps are provided
The frames are enamelled in red, white & blue (Not exactly the British colours, but similar).
4 sizes are available & are listed in the accompanying image, which also gives details of the geometry for the various sizes.
Frames are sized from the bottom bracket centre line to the top of the seat tube, which finishes about 25mm above the top tube.
These frames are the business & fit for a champion, although you don't have to be one to really enjoy the thrill of riding a thoroughbred. Not the cheapest, but probably the best & certainly the best value for money.
